ERC X INTEGRATION | $BLK ecosystem
DAO access requires ERC-721 to be held, with the ERC-20 components necessary for voting.
Blackhole DAO $BLK tokens will be deployed as an ERCX, currently one of the most resilient and gas efficient solutions on the market. This is the first for liquid staking capabilities and integration, with the ERC-721 component necessary for DAO access. Said ERC-20 $BLK provides access to both blkETH & wblkETH pools; effectively governing said ecosystem for liquid staking.
Delegation via $BLK tokens
Being a part of Blackhole governance can be difficult. Because of this, holders of Blackhole tokens have the option to:
Either self-delegate their tokens to cast a vote directly or choose a delegate to cast a vote on their behalf.
Token holders must accept their role by assigning their vote to themselves or to a delegate in order to join the DAO.
Tokens must be delegated once more in order to remain active; any transfer of tokens to a different wallet nullifies the delegation.
A Delegate, what is it?
DAO members who serve as delegates act on behalf of DAO token holders by:
examining and selecting proposals.
taking part in voting and governance on-chain.
To take part in debates and votes regarding the Blackhole Staking Protocol, these roles are essential!
Every member would actively engage in governance in a perfect world. Not everyone, though, has the time or expertise to evaluate bids. For this reason, you have the option to assign delegates your tokens so they can cast votes on your behalf. It is highly advised that less experienced or engaged members do this.
